A Buoyant Christmas

This would probably be one of modern history if it was encouraged to celebrate the holiday season in essence with its simplicity. Focus on the Corona virus and consider guidelines on how to celebrate  this Christmas. Only families who live in the same household, continue to wear masks, observe social distances, and wash their hands frequently.

For mutual protection and safety, we do not recommend visiting each other. There can be no normal Christmas joy and happiness that we have become accustomed to  this year. But our  Christmas party shouldn't be weakened by COVID. Spread more hope, peace, joy, and love this season! And here I remember the birth of our Savior. The Christmas story is one of simplicity. Our Lord and Redeemer were born in a manger with only a mother and father. His guests were a shepherd, some animals, and  three kings. This is a  reminder of the real reason for this season.

This year was difficult for all of us, but we stick to hope. That amidst all of the confusion and fear that the pandemic has brought, God is with us, has always been and will always be with us. Jesus is the light of the world!

May the baby Jesus continue to have room in our hearts, our lives reflect Christ`s presence, and our homes radiate God`s peace. With abundance of faith, hope and love, we will all get through this crisis together.
